LIDO 2D 3D started as Lops Drawing company in 1995. Since 2008 it is developed into what it is today: an advanced drawing company that keeps growing. LIDO 2D 3D offers high-quality draughtsmanship to yacht builders all over the world. We specialize in detailed production drawings for luxury yachts, in 2D and/or 3D. We supply production drawings, assembly drawings, CNC files and visualisations.Our company employs 20 draughtsman, who all have a practical background in common. We know extremely well what we create and understand what our clients need. We combine this practical basis with a large curiosity for new drawing techniques and equipment. Also enthusiasm, flexibility and perfectionism are characteristics that are well represented. This makes LIDO 2D 3D a team one can rely on.LIDO 2D 3D also has the access to its own 3D laser scanner. It’s unique in the yacht building. It is important to have a very detailed design of the ship, because most interior drawings are created in 3D. The 3D scanner is able to map out the ship accurately to the millimetre. With a resolution of one million dots per second the vessel is measured with extreme accuracy. The scanner provides us with the best basis possible to create a detailed interior drawing.
