Systems integrator Alewijnse will present technology of the future in a changing maritime world during Europort, from 2 to 5 November 2021 in Ahoy Rotterdam. Within the theme #WeConnectToTheFuture, the company will introduce the latest trends in electrical engineering and automation within the themes that are vital to our maritime ecosystem: digitalisation, energy transition and next generation. The maritime sector is an international industry in motion. New technologies, developments and areas of work follow each other in rapid succession. One of the latest applications that Alewijnse has developed together with clients and partners is the unique Alewijnse virtualisation & visualisation (AlViVi) platform. Alewijnse is market leader with this fast and flexible platform consisting of several virtualised process‐related systems that replaces most of the computer equipment on board, saving a lot of space and money. AlViVi has been successfully installed on a large number of trailing suction hopper dredgers, and the solution can also be implemented on other vessel classes and industrial plants.
Visitors to the Europort exhibition will have the opportunity to experience this smart digital solution at Alewijnse’s stand (1307), using the latest solutions of our partners Stratus and Rockwell Automation. There will also be an opportunity to attend an AlViVi presentation during the Europort Innovation Stage on digitalisation and smart technology, taking place in Hall 4 on Tuesday, November 2, from 17:00 to 17:45.
