The high-level, technical training series Design of Marine Auxiliary Systems is organised yearly by Netherlands Maritime Technology (NMT) in cooperation with Delft University of Technology. Register today!
During four modules participants are given an overview of the key aspects of main auxiliary systems, their main components, the fundamental working principles and the design aspects and considerations. Each module can be followed seperately.
The first module provides an thorough overview of the different auxiliary systems, their functions, components and characteristics. This module will take place on 25 and 26 March 2019 in Rotterdam. This first module is a joint effort with Econosto Nederland BV.
This second module will give insight into the fundamental working principles of these key components of the auxiliary systems. This module will take place on 15 and 16 April 2019 in Rotterdam.
The third module enables the participants to perform all calculations required for the design of auxiliary pipe flow systems. This module will take place on 3 and 4 June 2019 in Rotterdam.
Since 2016 a new module on HVAC and refrigeration systems has been added to the series. It fourth module provides the participants with the knowledge required to design these systems and perform the necessary calculations in order to do so. This module will take place on 22 and 23 May 2019 in Rotterdam. This module will be taught by Delft University of Technology together with two experts on HVAC in shipbuilding, P. Voorn and R. Cordier de Croust.
During all four modules the theory is practised by means of exercises during the modules. Each module can be followed separately, but combined they provide the participant a complete overview and the thorough knowledge required to design all marine auxiliary systems.
