Training Marine Propulsion: Propulsion system integration: Matching machinery and propeller (module 3)
The training series Marine Propulsion Systems is a unique technical and international oriented training for those who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge of the design of different marine propulsion systems. Topics during the four modules range from different power plant concepts and components to integrating components into properly matched propulsion systems. Working principles and characteristics of propulsors, internal combustion engines and electric power generation and distribution systems will all be dealt with throughout the training series. What are the possibilities of sustainable solutions? As well as a module on matching engines with propulsors including off-design operation of propulsion systems.During the module ‘Propulsion system integration: Matching machinery and propeller’ the procedure of evaluating the operational situation of a propulsion system, in both design and off-design conditions, is discussed.
Training Collaboration in maritime projects (stakeholder management I)
The success of a project depends heavily on the commitment and involvement of all participating parties. Especially when it comes to complex projects, it is important to carefully coordinate all activities; a chain is as strong as its weakest link.
Shipbuilding for non-shipbuilders
"Training 'Shipbuilding for non-shipbuilders' in! Strength, stability, the bulb, and yes even the 'bitter end' no longer holds any secrets for me!" Maurice Luijten PhD, Liason Officer Top Sector Water & Maritime. If you are technically trained but lack knowledge in the field of designing and building ships then this course offers a good introduction. By attending the course 'Shipbuilding for Non-Shipbuilders' you will learn the outlines of the shipbuilding process and shipbuilding terms. Do you want to increase your understanding and knowledge level about shipbuilding and/or have a lot of customer contact with shipyards or shipping companies? Then you will definitely benefit from this 2-day course.
Maritime Project Management Training
The Maritime Project Management course focuses fundamentally on the professionalization of skills, methods and techniques in project management. The emphasis is on setting up, designing and controlling maritime projects (components, systems or an entire ship) in a practical, manageable way. In good cooperation with all project stakeholders.
Training Onboard Fluid Distribution Systems
The training Onboard Fluid Distribution Systems covers the main (technical) aspects of design and operation of marine auxiliary systems on board of ships.
Training in Negotiation Skills in Maritime Projects (Stakeholder Management II).
The success of a project depends heavily on the commitment and involvement of all participating parties. Especially when it comes to complex projects, it is important to carefully coordinate all activities; a chain is as strong as its weakest link.
Maritime project management training
In maritime projects where many disciplines come together, controlling your project is quite a challenge. By applying project management properly, you increase your chances of success. This course may well be taken as an addition or deepening of the NMT Maritime Project Management course.
