As a new non-technical employee, you will have contact with colleagues at shipyards, suppliers and other maritime organizations from day one. The training will introduce you to technology in shipbuilding so that you are better able to work effectively with your colleagues and contacts. During the introductory training you will gain insight into the various facets of Dutch shipbuilding. The following topics will be covered, among others:
- The maritime market and market developments
- Different types of ships and ship components
- Design and construction process of a ship
- See, smell & hear the production process up close during the excursion!
The Maritime Introduction training is aimed at participants without a technical background. For anyone with a technical background, but without shipbuilding knowledge, we recommend taking the Shipbuilding for non-shipbuilders training.
