Bert-Jaap Dijkstra appointed as Royal IHC’s new CFO
On December 2, 2024, Bert-Jaap Dijkstra will start as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Royal IHC. With Dijkstra, the company gains a financial director with extensive experience and a proven track record in management and financial strategy, with a background in the energy and offshore energy services industries.
At SBM Offshore, he was responsible for optimising the capital structure and setting up and managing complex financing and risk management programs. As CFO at Jadestone Energy in Singapore, he led the company to its largest financing ever, executed a successful share issuance, and professionalised the organisation in line with international growth.
As the top financial executive at Royal IHC, Dijkstra will play a pivotal role in the further development of the company. In addition to the financial strategy, he will be jointly responsible for business results and the quality of reporting processes and organisation, and will provide critical input on commercial decision-making.
