Piet Brouwer electrical system for Salmo 5000 series by TBG Shipyards

Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology is supplying the electrical installation for the new Salmo 5000 series from TBG Shipyards in Kampen. This collaboration is rooted in Piet Brouwer’s many years of experience combined with the short distance between Urk (our home base) and TBG’s yard in Kampen. The engineering process is currently well underway. The vessels will be equipped with a D&A E-Prop system and be fully diesel-electrically powered. Although this is still a relatively new approach for shortsea vessels, the Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology team has already applied this technology on many occasions to work vessels and onboard superyachts.
