March 5 2024

Royal Van der Leun proudly announces the order for four fully electric passenger car ferries to BC Ferries in collaboration with Damen! This order comprises ferries seven through ten in our ongoing partnership. Having already completed the construction of the initial six vessels, Royal Van der Leun will deliver and install the complete electrical package, including installation and automation, for the newly ordered ferries.

Canadian Royal Van de Leun Branch

Our Canadian branch, located in Victoria BC, has been providing services to BC Ferries and Damen for a few years now. The branch is steadily growing towards a self-sustainable hub with local employees and resources to serve customers locally.

Delivering quality services and remote support around the clock worldwide after new builds and during the lifetime of the vessels underscores the reliability the company is aiming for.

"This new project is a great sign of appreciation, trust, and dedication from Royal Van der Leun to their customers Damen and BC Ferries", stated Martin den Breejen, CEO of Royal Van der Leun.
