Trade Mission on Port Development in Latin America

Registration for the Trade Mission on Port Development in Latin America, organized by the Regional Business Development (RBD) team of the Netherlands Embassies in Latin America and Holland House Colombia, is now open!

According to the Latin American Development Bank (CAF) over $58 billion USD of investments in the port sector are needed in Latin America by 2040, of which $15 billion USD are expected to be invested in the next few years.

Identify your opportunities for port development, digitalization, and sustainability in the region with a trade mission to the Latin American Conference of Ports ‘AAPA’ in Barranquilla. Broaden your network with representatives of the various port authorities in Latin America!

AAPA Conference

The annual Latin American Congress of Ports organized by the Latin American Delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) attracts key players from the Latin American and international maritime sector. Every year, more than 400 port leaders, company representatives, and international experts participate in the conference. The conference will address current challenges for ports; such as digitalization, energy transition, climate change, and its consequences for the ports and maritime sector. It will also update you on upcoming port development projects in Latin America.

The trade mission program offers tailor-made matchmaking and networking meetings, and field visits.

Costs

The participation fee is € 1250 per person. This includes full access participation to the AAPA Conference in Barranquilla and the complete mission program including matchmaking and network moments.

The fee excludes travel, accommodation and personal expenses.
