The company has worked on a wide range of fishing trawlers, tugs and workboats in the region, as well as on sophisticated vessels for the Vietnamese and Australian governments. To meet the demand for its expertise, in early 2018 Alewijnse Marine opened a new production facility in Haiphong, Vietnam, for high-quality switchboards and panels.
The most recent project delivered by Alewijnse is the full electrical installation for the new-build fishing trawler Atlantic Titan at the Ha Long Shipyard. The ultra-modern fishing vessel is the first of an order for the electrical fit-out of three fishing boats that Alewijnse Marine has received from the British company Shipbuilding Asia Ltd UK.
Alewijnse is delivering a complete electrical installation and integration package for the Atlantic Titan and her two sister-ships. “We are designing and supplying almost all the electrical equipment on board, including the switchboards and consoles”, Alewijnse Vietnam Director Daniel Pop explains. “In addition, we are responsible for the supervision and commissioning of all the electrical systems.”
