Damen Shipyards Group announced a reseller agreement with PVE Equipment USA (PVE USA) that appoints PVE as authorised partner and official supplier for the sales, service, and parts supply of Damen’s DOP submersible dredge pumps across the US.

Royal IHC en Demcon unmanned systems bundelen krachten

Royal IHC en Demcon unmanned systems gaan een strategische samenwerking aan om de inzet van onbemande en autonome vaartuigen in zowel de civiele als de defensiesector te versnellen. De samenwerking is gestart met de ontwikkeling en integratie van containerized Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS) voor USV’s en UUV’s. Deze oplossing stelt operators in staat hun autonome en remote-controlled onbemande vaartuigen eenvoudiger, efficiënter en veiliger in te zetten in bestaande operaties en in uiteenlopende condities.

SMST secures new order for davit systems on Belgian pilot vessel

SMST is proud to announce a new order for three advanced davit systems to be installed on an 80-meter pilot base vessel to be operated by Vloot DAB, the state-owned Belgian pilotage service. Equipped with these davit systems, the newbuild will ensure safe and efficient deployment and recovery of Fast Launch Craft used to transfer pilots to and from seagoing vessels. The vessel is designed by Conoship and will be build by Estonian shipbuilders Baltic Workboats and Western Baltija Shipbuilding, part of the BLRT Grupp.

Oceanteam awarded by DEME contract to deliver cable-lay tensioner spread for IJmuiden Ver Alpha and Nederwiek 1 export cables inshore works

Oceanteam has been awarded a contract by DEME to supply, mobilise and operate a complete cable-lay tensioner spread and control system on a rental basis to support the installation of power and fibre-optic cables in the Veerse Meer, Zeeland, the Netherlands, as part of the IJmuiden Ver Alpha and Nederwiek 1 grid connection program. The award marks another chapter in Oceanteam’s partnership with DEME and enables targeted investment in new equipment additions to Oceanteam’s fleet.
