The core business of De Waal bv mechanical engineering plant and shipping engineering, is designing and manufacturing rudders, steering engines, propeller shaft systems and seals for sea and inland shipping, the fishing industry and the yacht-building industry. In addition, De Waal has two ship lifts for the inland shipping sector, and a wide range of machinery such as CNC borers, turning lathes and milling machines for all sorts of repairs or new construction jobs. Apart from its manufacturing activities, De Waal also has a large servicing department. The trained technicians have an extensive knowledge (IVR-certified) of steering machines and they can arrange alignments and mobile boring activities.
