Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld is a member of the Damen Shipyards Group and specialised in custom built, medium sized vessels and general repairs/maintenance of inland/coastal vessels.Damen Shipyards Hardinxveld; the yard where Damen was founded in 1927, is one of the oldest yards of the group and has therefore the disposal of 80 years of experience, knowledge and know-how on practically every technique and aspect required for newbuilding and repair jobs.The yard is situated on the north bank of the river “Merwede” and has the disposal of two separate slipway’s; one for steel and one for aluminium/polyester works with a total area of approx. 5500 m². Both slipways are completely covered, condition controlled, protected for weather influences and equipped with indoor workshops and (parts) stores. Further the yard has the disposal of a number of outfitting pontons (total length approx. 115 m), a carpentry factory, a piping department and a separate spraying location.The flexible organization structure with short lines guaranties optimal service and practical solutions.
