The group’s equity ratio of 70% gives us the freedom of action to invest on this scale.At the same time we are continuously developing our casting and welding business. We regard this as an important factor in ensuring quality and precise delivery of critical components.Sperre has developed a unique chain of value. That’s what it takes to produce reliable compressors that function smoothly for the life of the ship.We depend on rapid and reliable delivery of top-quality castings. Our own foundry takes care of this critical link in our integrated supply chain. Close to Sperre and close to the whole maritime industry in Norway, it is highly responsive to casting challenges. Aluminium and complex ferrous castings are made in Elverum, Norway. Simpler ferrous castings are made in Riga, Latvia
