A sunny day, August 2000. Ruud Muis en Hans Dekker decide to start a new company in the maritime industry: AEGIR-Marine, the stern tube seal specialist. They wanted to make a difference. Do things better. Now they look back at 10 years AEGIR-Marine. They did make a difference.

AEGIR-Marine brought service back to life and launched the PRIME SEAL.AEGIR is a make independent service provider, specialized in stern seals. We offer high quality service, for any type and make of stern seal, from our offices in the Netherlands, Singapore and Shanghai.

We also offer underwater stern seal repair. Through the internet, customers have permanent access to service reports and ships details.AEGIR has created an alternative source for stern seal spares. We can offer almost any part for the well known makers, often from stock.

Spares include liners, seal rings, spacers and consumables. Housing parts can be made on request.
