Den Breejen Shipyard

For several years Den Breejen Shipyard has successfully specialized in the building of luxury river cruise vessels. Design and construction of these vessels fully comply with the requirements of IVW and classification societies. The specific design of the interior is established in consultation between customer, architect and yard. Passengers facilities include a lobby, restaurant and lounge with bar. Panoramic windows providing an unobstructed view to the vessel’s surroundings and outside areas including the large sundeck. Subject to the desired level of luxury, a sauna, jacuzzi, fitness room, shop or hairdresser can be fitted.The completion of inland cargo vessels and tankers has since long been part of the delivery programme. In accordance with classification society requirements vessels can be completed up to a length of 135 m. Den Breejen has also the knowledge and experience to build inland waterway ferries. Conventional rope and cable ferries as well as modern free-sailing ferries in various designs for private ship owners and local and regional authorities. Another expert service is the fabrication and fitting of complete propeller shaft installations. Next to new building Den Breejen Shipyard also provides dedicated repair and maintenance services to the shipping industry. The repair department has its own harbour with two stem docks and a well equipped workshop.
